Hi,

My name is Jonna!  I am twenty-five years young, a lover of all things old, vintage, and antique.  I am the owner, painter, blog author, photographer, and picker behind Lovely Rubbish.  I get my craftiness, and love for antiques from my grandparents. They are all very talented, jack-of-all-trades, kind of individuals. They have had such a huge impact on my life, and I am thankful for them everyday.

My main squeeze is Max. He keeps me calm and collected… Most of the time!  He has been so supportive during this process.  He even understands, and I think is starting to enjoy going to garage sales, antique shop’s, flea market’s, and looking down alley’s for anything that I can transform.  Well, maybe he hasn’t gone as far as looking down alley’s… yet!!  We have two spoiled, crazy dogs, Otto and Maddy.  My mom even calls them her granddogs! ..I guess she’s trying to hint to us that she want’s grandchildren in the near future.

Lovely Rubbish was created on a whim.  I was sick of the eight-to-five, Monday-through-Friday, Sitting at a computer, and not being satisfied with where I was in life.  I needed something more than I was allowing for myself at the time, and Lovely Rubbish was it!  I learn something new everyday while getting to truly enjoy the work that I do.  I get to be my own boss, be creative, and work my own hours!!

I have big dreams for Lovely Rubbish.  I know that with time, and support from my family I can make my dreams for myself, and Lovely Rubbish come true.
